GAME OVER

On the evening of Septembre 15, millions of people thought that a amateour mise-en-scéne which is a look-a-like of a coup d’etat had set-up by Erdogan himself in the beginning. The common opinion was that this clowning was resembeling Hitler’s Reichtag. However in a couple of hours, this opinion of the millions seemed to be diverted into another direction, what Erdogan wanted them to belive in. From that moment onwards; many liberals, democrats, social democrats, even leftists and millions of ordinary people of Turkey and the planet started to beleive that Gülen was behind the curtain of this coup d’etat look-a-like clowning. Consequently, on perception management of the mass, Erdogan was once again triumphant. He diabolically consolidated not only his followers but also the mass media of the World and even his opponents around the idea of  that he is fighting for “higher democracy” against the real satan living in Philedelphia.

As Turkish people has only a capacity of memory, not more than a fish does have. I need to recall some of Erdogan’s false commitments for a brief undestanding for what is really happening in Turkey. Erdogan, in the very first years of his regime, gave a hope to the local liberal, liberten, democrat, leftist or in other words -so-called- “brandly new generated opinion leaders” of Turkey that he is going to bring real democracy to the country and he is going to make Europian Union’s irreplaceable rules on human rights to come true on every aspect. A few people like me did not belive in one single word of his commitments those days however local and international public opinion was insulting us of being prejudice and old-fashioned Kemalist laics and white-collared Turks. According to those so-called “brandly new generated opinion leaders”, Atatürk’s reforms had caused all of the anti-democratic developments in the history of young Republic.

However things turned out in a way that Erdogan did not improve any critical law by means of democracy but, year by year he pushed his autheratian regime into daily life of the country. Consequently, on 12th of Septembre 2011, the liberal, liberten, democrat, leftist or in other words -so-called- “brandly new generated opinion leaders”, with a slogan of -not enough, but yes- supported Erdogan’s eager to change the constitution and consequently the devil had the chance to take over all of the law mechanisms which should stricly be independant. A few people claimed that he is going to captive the independent law constitutions under his control and he is going to create an imbalance among the three essential power of democracy but they lost. They were accused by local and international public opinion as being prejudice and old-fashioned Kemalist laics and white-collared Turks, once again.

However, Erdogan, with a neckbreaking speed and violance showed his real face during the Taxim Gezi Park protests. Although finally he won the combat of Gezi Park, this did not satisfied his narcissistic personalty and to gain an absolute authority on the country to drive it backwards to the Ottoman style Islamic State formation, he started to insist on to be the first president of postmodern, neo-Ottoman Islamic Turkish Republic. A few people, once again claimed that he is running for a kind of sultanate, but it was again impossible to attract the attention of million but some of the liberals, libertens, democrats, leftists or in other words -so-called- “brandly new generated opinion leaders” seemed that they have turned their faces against Erdogan. Thus, public opinion surveys did not satisfy the dictator as some sort of things were not going so well as his belivers used to belive. Neither economy, nor the Kurdish problem, nor the relations with the neighbors were all quite on the eastern front any more.

Although, the“brandly new generated opinion leaders” supported Erdogan’s eager to privatize all of the values of Kemalist Turkey has produced in 80 years;  economic status of the country was rapidly going down. It turned out that, Erdogan’s commitments on democratic and social rights of the Kurdish society was an absolute fake. Inspite of Atatürk’s foreign policy based upon “peace at home, peace in the World”, Erdogan choose “fight at home, fight in the World” strategy -which is a very predictable consequance of the way of thinking of a narcissistic personality of the bloody dictators of the World history –until the proclimation of his absolute sultanate, as he is going to rule the World in peace under his sick mystisizm. Following the coming out of every corroptional case, or governments support for ISIS, or his ministers winks on industrial accidents as they have some dirty relations with their governing, or the disclaimer of the youth against freedom, or the massacre of Kurds, it end up with another  Decree and “Erdogan’s State” suspended the personal liberties listed in the Weimar Constitution, including the rights of personal freedom, freedom of opinion, freedom of the press, freedom of organization and assembly, and privacy of communication. Non of those anti-democratic Decree’s were able to divert the sliding down of the AKP’s central power and once again nothing was all quite on the eastern front any more. Reffering once again his “Führer’s” strategies as he reffered in every critical step of his governing, he had to put his very last act on the stage: Reichtag…
On the evening of February 27, 1933, Hitler was at a dinner party in Joseph Goebbels’ home, the Reichstag fire was set-up. About a month after the Reichstag fire in Germany Adolf Hitler took over Germany and became the Chancellor. The Reichstag fire was a last nail in the coffin of the basic freedoms in Germany. The fire was soon blamed on a Communist named Marinus van der Lubbe.
On the evening of July 15, 2016, Erdogan was in a summer house in the last dictator of Turkey’s, Evren’s town, the bombing of Assembly was set-up. About a week after the Assembly’s fire in Turkey Erdogan took all the power on himself and became the Cinc. The Assembly’s fire was a last nail in the coffin of basic freedoms in Turkey. The fire soon bloomed on some anti-democrat named Fetullah Gulen.
On the day following the Reichstag fire, juridical order was suspended by the Decree of the Reich President for the Protection of People and State (Verordnung des Reichspräsidenten zum Schutz von Volk und Staat). The decree involved the suspension of individual and civil liberties. The decree authorized the government to take complete control in the federal states and impose the death penalty for a number of crimes. In fact, Goering wanted to hang the arsonist on the spot right after his arrest.
On the days following the Assembly fire, juridical order was suspended by the Decree of the Assembly for the Protection of Democracy and State. The decree involved the suspension of individual and civil liberties. The decree authorized the government to take complete control in the country and  implied the death penalty for a number of crimes. In fact, anti-laics cut one of the innocent, unaware young soldiers throat on the Street and shouted to bring the death penalty back.
Whether the responsibility of the anti-Nazis or the Nazis themselves were behind the Reichtag  fire or not, what was substantial is, what came out of the hell: Absolute Fascisizm.
Whether the responsibility of the anti-Erdogan’s or the Erdogan himself is behind the Assebly  fire or not, what was substantial is, what came out of the hell: Absolute Fascisizm.
The tv channels started broadcasting his coup d’detat look-a-like mise-en-scéne live from Ankara and Istanbul, not during the dawn but despite the accustomed set-up of all of the military coups of the World history, at “prime time”. Shortly after, the military released a statement saying that the “military has seized all power in Turkey” through the state tv channel TRT.  And again very shortly after this, the military withdraw itself from the so-called occupied TRT, and the bridges, and the streets. There seemed to be a bombing of Turkish Parliament building but there were no serious damages although the traces of F16’s rockets hitting their targets but sonics were completing the mise-en-scéne. And before dawn, the pilots surrended and the curtain closed with a big applause of the crowd.
And the very next day  the State’s Decree suspended the personal liberties, including the rights of personal freedom, freedom of opinion, freedom of the press, freedom of organization and assembly, and privacy of communication with an aggrevated manner . according to the lists of intelligance service arrestments started.
Once again with a neckbreaking speed 10.000’s of people displaced, interrrogated and arrested and the end of the story brought the absolute power to Erdogan with the proclamation of state of emergency. However one cannot stop himself to ask, how come they could not stop the cuop d’etat before it started if they had those lists in their hands.
Within two hours, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was live on FaceTime and he urged the people to go to the public squares and the airport and defend the nation. Soon afterwards, there were echoes of calls to prayer from multiple minarets although it was not prayer time. I read later that there were also calls for action by Imams against the military urging people to take to the streets.
Joining the echo of the calls to prayers were the loud noises of military jets flying over Istanbul skies. The combination of these sounds made me think that yes, these were the sounds of the funeral of free speech, critical thinking, and any other remnants of liberal democratic process in Turkey. This coup was a mise-en-scéne or not, one thing was certain: there would no longer be room in Turkey for people who can listen, read, analyze, and think critically.

According to the “brilliant” Western policies, that Turkey could be a “sample” for a kind of Democratic- Islamic country, the cablestones to the hell was implanted by the domestic liberal, liberten, democrat, so-called leftist or in other words “brandly new generated opinion leaders” of Turkey, during the celebration of the funeral of Atatürk’s model of Laic-Democracy within the past decades and consequently with the siren-like echoes of calls to prayer and military jets, Turkey became a land only for true believers without a sing of true democracy. GAME OVER…
